Frédéric Dumunier

Frédéric Dumunier received an Honourable Mention for his graduate thesis: “Measure of the effects of osteopathy follow-up on the autonomic nervous system with the Heart Rate Variability” and was quoted as a reference in an innovative book in the field.

After settling his private practice in Toronto GTA, he decided to share his knowledge and experiences through innovative student-based courses like Anatomy and Palpation courses. He is actively lecturing in clinics, schools and hospitals in Canada and overseas.

His humanitarian engagement in Haiti led him to be the co-founder and current CEO of Osteopathy for Haiti, a not-for-profit organization aiming to integrate Osteopathy in hospitals. The goal of the organization is to work in synergy with the medical staff and teach the Osteopathic approach.

Currently, Fred is working on integrating Osteopathy in pre and post abdominal-pelvic surgery as well as developing osteopathic courses using sonographic technology.
